Hi, Im Xavi Merlo. Im a big Tim Burtonīs fan, and i try to reproduce reality with digital painting. I recognize artists that have already reach reality and congratulate them. I love gothic style. I like metal music, as well as any other music that sounds creepy or dark to me, like Danny Elman "genious". i really want to improve my techniques and become a better artist since its my life. Theres a whole world inside of me that wants to see the light, yet the only tools iīve got now are my hands and my imagination to let it out. A gothic architecture cathedral and dark cold forest are some of the deep dreams iīve got, and now it starts my journey to transform all those in reality. Xavi Merlo

Its a very complex work, but maybe the hyperealism may come in the several layers or brush strokes of the skin. That makes an illusion of the pores in the skin and shades depending on not only the general shape but the wrinkles no matter the size (in young women wrinkles may look like abcent but they are not, and defyning them with shades gives a realistic tone)
Thanks for the watch, fav and kind words. You got a really amazing and unique gallery. I don't know much about digital art but i know it looks great. But i do know from your drawings that your also a very talented pencil artist to. So keep up the good work.
